Since I joined Toshiba as an engineer in 1978, I have maintained my passion for all aspects of the medical systems business of the Toshiba Group, from R&D to business operations and sales.
The Toshiba Medical Systems Group, operating under the management slogan "Made for Life", has advanced in partnership with its customers, responding to their changing needs. We contribute to global healthcare by providing a wide range of high-value-added solutions. Our efforts have made us the top company in this business segment in Japan and have given us a global presence spanning 120 countries.
Our management concept is based on three objectives: "to protect health and precious lives by contributing to healthcare", "to provide high-quality, reliable products and excellent service", and "to progress in partnership with our customers". We give top priority to life, safety, and compliance with laws and regulations, and strive to be a company of the highest integrity.
Our business mission is to contribute to society through healthcare by developing advanced medical technology; therefore, promoting our business itself can be regarded as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Though many countries are now facing significant changes in the healthcare environment, including aging populations and medical system reforms, we will continue to generate waves of innovation in healthcare and medical technology. We strongly believe in our mission to promote our business globally and disseminate state-of-the-art medical technologies and systems in order to contribute to the well-being of people around the world.
To promote the growth and success of all our stakeholders, including our customers, we shall continue to pursue further global business development with speed and responsiveness. We are grateful for your continuing support and cooperation.
