The Quantum detector leverages Toshiba's expertise in ceramic technology to capture true isotropic images with 0.5 mm slice acquision. This provides clinicians with high-quality volume data sets that:

Real-time exposure control with SUREExposure™ automatically adjusts the tube current to patient anatomy to reduce dose with no loss in image quality.

Quantum Denoising Software (QDS) is a powerful tool Toshiba has developed to remove noise in reconstructed images. QDS is an adaptive noise reduction algorithm that selectively smoothes out areas of uniform density while preserving the edge information within the image, thus reducing noise while increasing the signal to noise ratio and improving image quality.
QDS routinely reduces patient dose by up to 50% while maintaining both low and high contrast resolution.

Toshiba's newly developed user-friendly 3D imaging software permits 3D images to be generated with outstanding ease, while intuitive 3D preset icons ensure easy operation and quick results.

Toshiba's bone removal software provides the operator with an easy and accurate means of removing bone from CT angiographic images.
Extremely high-quality MIP images with bone segmentation can be obtained in just a few clicks. Toshiba provides realtime preview of bone removal on synchronized 3D and MIP images to ensure highly accurate and diagnostic 3D CT angiograms every time.
